Welcome to Souper Sunday!

We love soup. If that isn’t an understatement, then we don’t know what is. Soup is great for many reasons: it freezes, makes plenty, you always have the ingredients, it’s filling, it can be healthy (or not) and it’s simple. There is a soup for everyone. Also, it brings people together. Soup is made to sit around the dining room table and talk, share stories and spend time with family and friends. Soup is a lover, not a hater.

Souper Sunday started as one of Natalie’s most cherished family traditions. She makes a different soup every Sunday from October to February. She approached Caroline and Matthew over lunch one day with a crazy idea: a blog about soup. Caroline and Matthew were just crazy enough to join her in this venture.

We hope you enjoy soup, as much as we enjoy sharing our recipes and stories with y'all. Connect with us on Facebook and Twitter. If you have comments, questions or variations to our recipes, feel free to shoot us an email.

Natalie is the lead author and founder of Souper Sunday. This sassy red head has an above average love for soup - some would say borderline obessive. She is passionate about everything Fall - including coffee, scarves, cardigans and most importantly SEC football. Go Dawgs and Roll Tide!

Caroline is the main photographer, co-chef and a hardcore foodie - don't let her loose in a Williams-Sonoma. A recent college graduate, Caroline spends much of her non-working hours recipe hunting. She bakes like a goddess and is a Pinterest pinning fool who knows her way around a kitchen like Usher on the dance floor.

Matthew is responsible for the maintenance of the blog and social media outlets.  Basically, he is just along for the ride and to taste some good home cookin'. A graduate of Ole Miss, Matthew is well versed in anything southern and preppy. His areas of expertise include tailgating etiquette, monogramming and all things hot sauce.
