Happy Valentine’s Day soup lovers!
We here at Souper Sunday are celebrating Valentine’s
day/Singles Awareness Day by doing the same thing we always do. Work.
So with that in mind, I thought I would share one of my many
talents with all of you: bad poetry writing. Matt has been the recipient (victim)
of many of my poetry sessions. Let’s just put it this way, if soup blogging
doesn’t work out then bad poetry blogging may be another option. Notice I didn’t
say good option. So here you go.
A Valentine’s Poem Just For You
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Every bad poem starts with these two
St. Valentino’s got swag
He’s quite the stud
His favorite soup is called ‘Italian Rosebud’
Matt is single
Caroline is too
Natalie’s off the market, boo hoo hoo
The wine is chilled
The soup’s a stewing
Food- it’s the only thing we got going
This poem sucks
We know it’s true
But we wanted to share our first love with you
